While Treasure Trove takes after her mother a fair deal in appearance (well.. minus the pony bits), her personality is a wee bit closer to that of her sire. Wanderlust seems to run strong in Hoofbeard's children and Treasure is no exception, but while others may be focused on the end goal, Treasure Trove is there for the experience, the memories and the ponies she meets; these are the things of value. There's nothing better that setting out into the great unknown with friends at your side

Short bio/backstory
"A gal in every port" was likely an adage Treasure's sire lived by or at least her mother believes it to be true. When pressed by the rather young hippogriff why she was so different from her siblings, her mother spoke (not unfondly) of the incredibly short relationship with a sailor ported for the winter and the surprise that came well after the season's change long after his departure.
And for one of pony heritage, the rest of Treasure Trove's childhood was an interesting one to be sure. A griffon and a dragon as parents wasn't the most nurturing of environments, Treasure had to learn to stand up for herself amongst rough and occasionally cruel playmates and the usual sibling rivalry with a few more teeth and claws involved along with a few scorched feathers.

It was close to Riot's "disappearance" that Treasure Trove set out on her own as an independent young filly of eighteen, both with the intent to finally meet just what sort of pony her sire had been and discover what it was about being a pony that had caused her so much grief among her dragon kin. Turns out hippogriffs are a rare sight in most of Equestria and having no idea what a cutie mark draws a lot of strange looks, but Treasure had never felt so welcome than she did then and now and upon discovering she would love nothing more to continue to explore the world with those she met along the way forever, she earned her very own cutie mark.

Relationships
Gilda (Mother) - Treasure has a deep love for her mother and would insist Gilda feels the same towards her, though it was never necessarily a blatant affection that she finds among her pony friends. Gilda was always watchful with her oldest, placing a strong emphasis on helping her daughter learn to be confident in herself despite her differences and any manner of teasing.

Garble (Step-father) - Not many can say their step-father is literally a dragon and... that's about where the positives end in Treasure mind. She can maybe see what her mother likes about it, but she's never personally warmed to him. As it stands, they're both on pretty neutral territory with one another with a fair amount of antagonistic criticism on Garble's end when Gilda is out of earshot. Treasure just lets it roll of her back with little consequence.

Facts/Miscellaneous
*Treasure Trove seems to have inherited some of that good old earth pony strength only further enhanced by wrestling with dangerous playmates growing up. Expect a well aimed buck from her hooves to be devastating and can throw some weight around. She's a lot more likely to lightly bop you with her map rather than do you actual physical harm tho...

*Treasure chests are symbolic of something you want to hold close to your heart and keep safe, generally something of sentimental value. They're also a symbol of good fortune and unexpected benefits to come.
